What Assurance governs

Estimate Versions and frozen comparisons
The selected Estimate Version is the workspace boundary. Issued revisions, reviews, and published handoffs stay frozen as historical evidence you can compare across versions.
Plan and inputs
The Estimate Plan coordinates the scheduled work, dependencies, and input-deliverable tracking needed to build the version.
Cost Model
Build from governed direct cost into the loaded project total with percentages, lump sums, subtotals, and permitted module references such as a published Risk contingency result.
Change and Should-Cost registers
Capture changes and move them through commercial status; run procurement, quote comparison, and should-cost variance. Open exposures stay visible until resolved or intentionally incorporated.

Every dollar enters by import — Assurance is not estimating software
Jakten Assurance does not price work or generate quantities. Every monetary value enters by importing an Excel or CSV estimate into a Package; Assurance governs, compares, reviews, and publishes that number.
A missing or unavailable figure is shown as unavailable — never as zero. Assurance will not invent a value when a required Risk publication or other basis is missing; it links to the source so the input can be corrected.
