Receive and review the bids
Drop in each bid as it arrives — Excel, CSV, Word or a text PDF. Quote reads the priced lines, checks the bidder's arithmetic, and shows every row beside the page it came from.

Bid evaluation for procurement packages. Jakten Quote reads each bid and checks it, levels the bids line for line against your takeoff, keeps the risks and the award on record, and publishes the award to Jakten Assurance — so you know exactly what you are buying, and why.

Three steps for every procurement package, in the order you work them.
Drop in each bid as it arrives — Excel, CSV, Word or a text PDF. Quote reads the priced lines, checks the bidder's arithmetic, and shows every row beside the page it came from.
Place every line on the takeoff, add the adjustments that make the bids comparable, and see each bid's leveled total and rank. Checks and the risk register show what does not add up.
Record the award with anything still open acknowledged, export the bid tabulation report, and publish the award to Jakten Assurance to compare with the estimate.
One package workspace: its bids, scope and takeoff, leveling, checks, risks, award, publication, letters and questions.
Excel, CSV, Word and text PDF bids are read without AI. Each row is shown beside the page it came from, the bidder's arithmetic is checked, and a new revision lists what changed.
Bid lines are placed on your takeoff by WBS and unit. Adjustments for missing scope, exclusions or quantities make the bids comparable, and each bid gets a leveled total and a rank.
Every rate and quantity is compared with the other bidders and the takeoff and, where available, the estimate basis and your rate library. The risk register records what each bid excludes or leaves silent, and what it could cost.
Record the award with anything still open on it acknowledged, and export the bid tabulation report in Word or PDF. An award is never edited; a new one supersedes it, with the reason.
Publish the award to Jakten Assurance as a versioned record. Assurance compares it with the estimate and flags rate, quantity, scope and indirect differences — it never changes an estimate value.
Clarification letters are assembled from the risk register, with RFI and BAFO drafts beside them. Every confirmed unit rate builds your company's rate library, across its projects.
Representative sample output for the structural steel package of a fictional semiconductor fab project — the screens as they ship. The two AI screens are live output.

With a Jakten AI subscription, Quote reads scanned and photographed bids and every document's fine print, suggests WBS mappings, proposes leveling adjustments and risks, drafts the award recommendation and polishes letters, and answers questions from the package's documents, quoting each passage it rests on.
Nothing AI proposes counts until someone on your team accepts it. Without AI, everything else in Quote works — offline, too.

Jakten Quote runs on Jakten Platform — Windows desktop software. Bids, takeoffs and awards are stored on infrastructure you control.
13 short tutorials walk the shipping client end to end — receiving and reviewing bids, the takeoff, leveling, checks and risks, the award, publishing to Assurance, letters, and the AI features.
